Alissa Berg, Ph.D.
DR. ALISSA BERG is passionate about actively engaging science educators in the kinds of meaningful, inquiry-based experiences in which they are expected to engage their students. She is known for her wealth of NGSS knowledge and for providing sessions that are not only grounded in the theory of best practices but based on what actually works in the classroom. Alissa's goal is to strike a balance between challenging educators, from beginners to the experienced, and offering them practical support and concrete examples to transform their instruction and enhance student learning. Participants leave her training equipped with new knowledge and strategies, as well as the tools to implement them.
