Dr. Kendrick Johnson

DR. KENDRICK JOHNSON is founder of Frontier Educational Consulting. He began his career as a high school English teacher in Chicago. Dr. Johnson also spent time as an instructional coach and a director of curriculum and instruction. He later transitioned into working with teacher preparation residency programs and school-level administration. Dr. Johnson’s areas of expertise include restorative classroom management techniques, data-driven instruction, equity in education, aligned-coherent assessment systems, and culturally relevant and responsive teaching.
In his current role as a consultant, Kendrick is committed to providing research-based professional development and high-quality consulting services to district-level leaders, school-based instructional leaders, teachers, and principals/APs in order to equip all stakeholders with the necessary tools to cultivate and sustain a robust culture of teaching and learning at their schools.
